How do I order a Video Tour or a ShoBiz Video profile?

Click on the "OrderVideos" button in the upper right corner of this page and complete the order form. If you have a quotation, provide the quote number. Otherwise, select a video type from the list. Then complete the contact information.

You will then receive an email with payment instructions. As soon as payment is made we will process your order.

What happens after I place an order?

New Vista Video will contact you to collect information about your business, service, or property. We then will create a script of the video for your review and approval. Then we will schedule a professional videographer shoot the video. The video shooting will usually take between 30 and 45 minutes.

Business Profiles, are sometimes created in an interview style. For these we provide a list of suggested topic questions for the interview, or you can provide your own. At the video shoot, you will simply respond to the interview questions posed.

Within one business week after the video shoot you will receive an email with a link to your video on the web.

Is there a difference between a Tour and a Profile?

A Video Tour begins with a script that is created to showcase your facility, business, or service. Then we bring the script to life with staged video shots that support the scripted message.

A Profile video is recorded as you answer questions that prospects might pose when they meet you. Before the taping, we provide a list of topic questions or you can supply your own. You are most effective when you talk naturally with prospects and friends and we will capture this on camera. Do not try to memorize your lines or you risk losing spontaneity, sincerity, and charm.

How do I create the script?

New Vista Video will create the script from information you provide suring our interview process. We utilize marketing and communication professionals that are experienced in effectively presenting you and your business.

How long does it take to get my videos?

Most ShoBiz videos are ready for your review within 1 business week after the shooting date. Custom business profiles, showroom and faciulity tours may take longer, and this will be noted on the time of quote. The video shooting date will be coordinated between you and the videographer. When completed, we will send you an email with a link to your video and will distribute it to websites you specified on your order.

Can I take videos with my camcorder and send them to you?

Professional video cameras, lighting techniques and sound equipment are critical to producing the high-quality video that distinguishes your business. Professional videographers are equipped and skilled in creating the best experience for your Web visitors. Professional editing can only tell the story that has been captured by the camera and cannot substitute for professionally scripted, quality videography. Therefore, we only accept videos taped by our approved videographers.

Our expertise is in combining their talents, our marketing and communication skills, and digital technology so your business can be more effective on the Internet.

What will my clients need to view my videos?

Your clients need a broadband Internet connection, a computer and a web browser. Chances are they already have the software needed to view the videos - 99% of computers are already equipped! And it doesn't matter if they use Windows, MacIntosh, or a Linux system! Since our videos are "streamed" and not downloaded, they won't need lots of hard drive space!

How can I save a video tour so I can see it later?

We use the most secure and efficient methods of delivering video over the web - "streaming" video. It is a lot like watching TV - as soon as you see the images, they are gone from the computer! That means the videos never reside on the hard drive and so it is not possible to save the video. We can also provide CD or DVD of your video for distribution at shows, include with literature, and as leave-behinds during sales calls.

Can I link my video with other web pages?

Any web page can link directly to your videos. This is a great way to allow others to see your video from places where they will find your business listing - online community directories, Chambers of Commerce directories, trade associations, emails, associate and partner web sites.

Also, our videos can contain links to any web page you desire. Our videos are fully interactive - even on a CD or DVD. Your visitors can click a link that will take them directly to any page on your web site, open contact forms, request information, or forward the video to a friend.
